Dr. Lenora Epple graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Missouri. She is a clinician, educator, and speaker with expertise in Preventive Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and Wellness.
Known for her collaborative approach, Dr. Epple partners closely with each patient to create personalized goals and treatment plans that fit their unique lives. Her care philosophy blends the science of medicine with the art of listening — helping patients understand their bodies, take active roles in their care, and build lasting habits that support lifelong health.
Her clinical interests include healthy aging, hormone balance, cardiovascular and cancer prevention, metabolic health (including prediabetes, diabetes, and weight management), and food sensitivities. She also focuses on thyroid and brain health — supporting cognitive function, emotional wellbeing, and sleep quality.
She has a special interest in plant-based nutrition for disease prevention and is pursuing certification in Culinary Medicine.
